What you get

Four things you can hold in your hand

A plan with real dates

Your problem becomes a matter: the plan, the dates that count, your documents, and a record of everything that has happened.

Real Word documents

Not a screenshot you can't edit. A real Word file with tracked changes you accept or reject, and a version history you can go back to.

The real court form

When your plan needs an official form, we fill in the genuine one. The file you download is the real form, not a lookalike.

Signing costs nothing

Send a document to be signed and it uses no credits. You get the signed PDF, a certificate, and a record of every step.

How it works

Three steps from stuck to sorted

You don't need to know any law to start. You type what happened in your own words, and the plan comes from there.

Describe it

Tell us what happened in your own words. We ask up to five short questions, and you can skip any of them.

Get your plan

You get stages, tasks and dates — each date labelled with where it comes from: the law, your contract, a scheme, or just good practice.

Do the work

Draft, review, fill the form, get it signed. Everything stays in the one matter, with a history of what happened.

Four things Go Legal Ai does that are hard to believe until you watch them. These are working copies of the real screens, filled with example text.

Every flag points at the exact words in your document.

Upload a contract and Go Legal Ai lists what it finds. Each item quotes your document word for word and tells you which clause it came from, so you can check it in seconds. If you want the fix, it goes in as a tracked change you accept or reject. Nothing changes without you.

The documentv4

The Supplier shall be liable without limitation for any loss, cost or expense arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, howsoever caused.

The Client may terminate this Agreement at any time on giving 7 days written notice. The Supplier may terminate only on 6 months written notice.

Payment shall be made within a reasonable period following receipt of an invoice.

Anything serious pushes the score to at least 70. The score can't flatter a document.

  • highClause 4.1liability
    Liability is uncapped
    liable without limitation

There is no ceiling on what the Supplier could owe. A cap is the single most common protection in an agreement like this.

  • mediumClause 9.2termination
    Notice periods are one-sided
The Supplier may terminate only on 6 months written notice

One side can walk away in a week, the other needs half a year. That imbalance is usually worth raising.

  • lowClause 6.1payment
    Payment date is not defined
    within a reasonable period

“Reasonable” means whatever the paying side says it means. A number is easier to enforce.

  • Some checks use no AI at all
  • Tells you if it read an older draft

Some checks don't use AI at all — words you defined but never used, a reference to “clause 12” that doesn't exist, capital letters that don't match.

A review can be stopped while it runs, and stopping it stops the spend.

If we don't know something, we leave it blank.

Court forms ask a lot of questions. We fill in the ones your matter already answers and leave the rest empty. Suggestions appear next to the box and never go into it until you say yes.

If we don't know something, we leave it blank. A blank you fill in is fine. A guess would be a false statement on a court document. Here, that's “date the tenancy ended”.

  • Fills in from your matter
  • Blanks stay blank
  • You accept every suggestion
  • Warns you if the courts change the form
  • You file it — we don't

The paper form asks its questions across dozens of separate boxes. We regroup them into the questions a person actually needs to answer.

The courts updated this form on 14 March. Your answers were typed against the older version — here are the boxes to check.

You download the finished PDF and file it the way you always would. We don't send anything to a court.

Which forms we can fill in depends on which official versions we currently hold. Your plan tells you the one you need.

Move a task and we follow. Move a legal deadline and we put it back.

Move an ordinary task to a new day and your matter updates to match. Move a deadline that's set by law and we put it back and tell you why — because that date isn't ours or yours to choose.

Put the signature box where it belongs and we store it as a position on the page, not a pixel. When you send it, the document locks. You get the signed PDF, a certificate, and a list of every step where each entry is locked to the one before it.

ESIGN / UETA and eIDAS disclosure accepted (v1) is recorded before anyone can sign, and our server does the stamping — a signer can't alter the document they're signing.

Sending a document to be signed costs no credits.

These are simple electronic signatures. We don't check anyone's identity with a certificate.

Why you can trust the output

Built so you can check it

AI gets things wrong. The useful question is whether a product makes it easy to catch when it does.

Findings quote your document

Every risk we flag comes with the exact words it came from, and the clause it sits in, so you can check it in seconds.

Blank stays blank

On a court form, a box we have no fact for is left empty. A plausible guess would be a false statement.

Some checks use no AI at all

Defined terms, cross-references and citations are checked by code, not by a model. Those answers don't vary.

Nothing is applied behind your back

Suggested edits arrive as tracked changes you accept or reject. On a court form you accept every one by hand.

Cancelling stops the spend

Stop a long answer part-way and you stop paying for it.

It reads the real file

When the assistant talks about your document, our server reads the actual file. It doesn't take your browser's word for what's in it.

When you want a person

When it needs a person, it's our team.

Not a directory of strangers. Go Legal is one in-house team, and you see what something costs before you agree to it.

Pricing

Two plans. One pot of credits.

Everything is included on both plans — the assistant, drafting, review, court forms, signing. What changes is how many AI credits you get each month, and they come out of one shared balance rather than separate allowances.

How the trial works

You pick a plan and add a card. Nothing is taken while the trial runs, and if you cancel before it ends you pay nothing. There is no free version of Go Legal Ai — the trial is the free option.

Security

The boring things we did properly

No badges. Here's what is actually true about how your account works.

Your browser never gets the keys

It cannot reach our database. To open a document it gets a one-off link that stops working after five minutes.

Everything is tied to your account

Every request is checked against who you signed in as, and anything we haven't deliberately opened up is closed.

Two records can only be added to

Signing, and comments on documents, are written to logs where the database itself refuses to change or delete an entry.

We never keep a link

Share links and signing links are stored as a fingerprint, so not even we can read the original back out.

You can turn on two-step sign-in

And see every device that is signed in, and sign them out.

You can take your data and go

Download everything, delete a conversation, or delete your account for good. One unsubscribe link stops every email we send.

Straight answers

What Go Legal Ai is not

We'd rather you read this now than find out later.

It isn't legal advice

Go Legal Ai gives you legal information and document tools. Nobody here is acting as your solicitor. For advice on your own position, book a consultation.

Step-by-step plans are England & Wales only

You can still open a matter, upload your papers, ask questions and have documents drafted for Scotland, the other countries we cover, and any US state. We just won't build you a guided plan until we support that law properly.

We don't file anything with a court

We fill in the official form and you download it. Filing it is still your step.

We won't email you before a deadline

Dates show up in the app and sync to a calendar you connect. Email reminders aren't switched on yet.

Our case-law search only uses public sources

It searches five official sites: legislation.gov.uk, caselaw.nationalarchives.gov.uk, bailii.org, gov.uk and judiciary.uk. We don't have a paid legal database.

Signatures are the simple kind

Fine for most everyday documents. They are not identity-checked certificates.

Documents come out as Word files

That's the download format for anything drafted here.

Questions people ask first

Do I need to know anything about law?

No. You type what happened in your own words. Go Legal Ai asks up to five short questions — skip any you don't know — and builds the plan from there. Legal words are explained where they come up.

Do I need a card for the free trial?

Yes. You add card details to start, nothing is taken while the trial runs, and if you cancel before it ends you pay nothing.

Is there a free version?

No. The trial is the free option.

Will it make things up?

Every risk it flags quotes your own document word for word, so you can check it. Some checks use no AI at all. It is instructed never to invent a case name or a section of an Act. It can still be wrong, so check anything important before you rely on it.

Does it work where I live?

Step-by-step plans are England & Wales. Everything else — matters, uploads, questions, drafting and review — works for Scotland, thirteen other markets, and every US state (you pick the state, because US law is state law). If yours isn't listed you can add it.

Can it file my claim at court?

No. It fills in the official form and you download the completed PDF, then file it the way you always would.

Can I talk to a person?

Yes. It's our own team, not a directory of strangers, and a 15-minute call to work out what you need is free.

What happens to my documents if I leave?

Download everything, or delete your account for good. Documents come out as Word files.
